Adam V as seen in "Season 1"'s album artwork. Adam V comes from the planet Carbonia in the Andromeda Galaxy. He belongs to the Blue Adamantian alien race. He first appears at the end of "Season 1" in a vision to the scientists who found the secret base of the Technocrat under Jerusalem. He appears as a blue diamond and reveals glimpses of the future and is instrumental in creating the Order of the Swan.

The Arrow as seen live at Docker's Guild shows. The Arrow is the personification of The Arrow of Time, a concept related to Entropy (S = kB ln Ω), which is a measure of the disorder or chaos within a system. It is Jack Heisenberg's main research subject. As a fundamental property of the Universe, it reside in the same metaworld as Eternity.

Camilla as seen in "Season 2"'s album artwork and videos. Camilla is one of the three Dark Whores that went through the Three Ordeals in order to serve the infamous Cardinal Berengar Yersinia. She has a softer and wiser character compared to Cassilda and acts as a guide to Lucy when she joins the cult.

Cardinal Berengar Yersinia as seen in "Season 2"'s album artwork and videos. Yersinia is a sycophant, a frustrated bigoted bureaucrat and religious fanatic who climbed the ranks of the Catholic Church. After having taken the vows of the Three Ordeals, his body is ravaged by disease and radiation poisoning. He eventually takes over the Church and transforms it into a dark organization. At first an elusive figure shrouded in mystery and lurking in the shadows, he finally reveals himself to the world. He is known as the “King in Purple”, “His Dark Eminence” or the “Leper Pope”.

Cassilda as seen in "Season 2"'s album artwork and videos. Cassilda is one of the three Dark Whores that went through the Three Ordeals in order to serve the infamous Cardinal Berengar Yersinia. She was the first whore and has been with Yersinia the longest. She is cold and detached, and is the most fanatical of the three whores.

Clio (The Muse of History) as seen in the short film "Darwin's Tears". She lives in a metaworld beyond ours. Clio is guilty of consuming a sapphic relationship with her sisters Urania and Euterpe. As they realize their sin, they shed one black tear each in a pool of water which generates the dark world in which our story takes place.

The Cross (Dark Christianity) as seen in the short film "Darwin's Tears". She is the personification of corrupted, fanatical Christianity, a creation of ZZ-999.

Eternity as seen in the short film "Darwin's Tears". She watches the development of events without interefering in human or cosmic affairs. She is a living record of what happens in the story. She exists above the metaworld of the Muses.

Euterpe (The Muse of Music) as seen in the short film "Darwin's Tears". She lives in a metaworld beyond ours. Clio is guilty of consuming a sapphic relationship with her sisters Urania and Clio. As they realize their sin, they shed one black tear each in a pool of water which generates the dark world in which our story takes place.

Jack Heisenberg as seen in "Book A" is a middle aged, highly intelligent researcher who has dedicated his life to the betterment of mankind. He is married to Laura Heisenberg. They have no children. Dr. Heisenberg spends his days and nights doing research to fight the genetic manipulations that the Technocrat has programmed into all life on Earth. He has very little free time and few friends, but his true passion is music, ranging from classical to heavy metal. He also enjoys history, sci-fi and horror books and movies. Jack is the hero of the story. His main objective is at first to cure cancer and other genetic diseases. When he discovers the Technocrat, this becomes a mission.

Laura Heisenberg as seen in the "Terminus" video. Laura was Jack Heisenberg's wife. They met at university and they married shortly after they got their PhDs. She was a tall, beautiful woman with red hair and deep green eyes. Well connected with her feelings, she had a powerful sense of intuition. She was friendly and loved by all. Jack and Laura spent their honeymoon in Thailand. When they came back, they got recruited as researchers by Project DNA. Shortly after the discovery of the Technocrat's base under Jerusalem, Laura started suffering from headaches. Within a year, she died of cancer as the rest of the team tried but failed to save her.

Lucy Higgs as seen on "Book A"'s album cover. Lucy is the teenage niece of Jack Heisenberg. She is petite with blonde hair and very beautiful. When Laura dies of cancer, Lucy becomes very close to Jack, but when her own parents are killed in a car crash, anger starts to build up. Jack adopts her, but she blames him for her parents’ deaths. She directs all her anger, hate and frustration to Jack. The relationship falls apart. Lucy takes refuge in religion and joins a dark and fanatical Christian sect led by a mysterious figure only known as the “King in Purple”. A final argument erupts at the table while dining, and Lucy pours out all of her anger towards Jack. Lucy runs away and permanently joins the cult, becoming obsessed with the idea of avenging her family's death.

The Star (Dark Judaism) as seen in the short film "Darwin's Tears". She is the personification of corrupted, fanatical Judaism, a creation of ZZ-999.

Tith (The Last Dinosaur) in his animal form in "Season 1"'s album artwork. Tith is the last living dinosaur, ZZ-999 having wiped all of them by means of an asteroid crash on Earth. Tith however survives, ZZ-999 hunts him down and kills him mercilessly, ending the rule of the dinosaurs on Earth.

ZZ-999 (The Technocrat) as seen in the "Season 1" album artwork. ZZ-999 comes from the satellite Silix IV in the Andromeda Galaxy. He belongs to the Mystic Technocracy alien race. His body is about 100 m tall and is composed entirely of silicon. Being techno-organic, although humanoid in shape, his features are markedly alien, with a glowing purple and black skin resembling electronic circuitry. He wears a black hood. He comes to Earth to eradicate all life from the planet, but fails due to a landing accident and subsequent crash. He then resorts to other means, causing the Extinction Level Events of prehistory, but these fail as well. His last resort is to manipulate the DNA of life forms on Earth to create flaws, especially in humans, such as diseases and a tendency to be easily manipulated and indoctrinated, giving rise to fanatical religions.

The Court of Carcosa as seen in "Season2"'s album artwork and videos. After taking power, Cardinal Yersinia renames Rome Carcosa and starts calling himself the King in Purple. He is accompanied by Camilla, Cassilda and Lucy, the Three Whores who had to go through the Three Ordeals to join him in his mad plan to destroy the world.
